Which app should I start with?
Pick by grade using the tabs above. If your child is preparing for a provincial assessment, start with the matching test-prep app; otherwise start with the subject they find hardest, since short daily practice helps most where confidence is lowest.
What does it cost?
Every app is free to download and free to try. Paid upgrades unlock the full word and question banks. In the apps for younger kids, they sit behind a parental gate so only an adult can buy.
What data do you collect about my child?
There is no login and no account. Progress and any name you enter for a profile stay on the device; TopSpeller can also sync progress through your own iCloud account. Only TopSpeller contacts our servers — for recorded pronunciations and anonymous usage counts that carry no name or identifier. Each app’s details are in our Privacy Policy.
Can teachers use these in class?
Yes. The practice modes work well as a warm-up or a station rotation, and nothing requires a class account. Email us if you need a set of codes for a classroom.
